How to play Mahjong Solitaire — the rules

Goal: remove all 144 tiles by taking them in matching pairs. Clear the whole turtle to win.
A tile is free when nothing covers it from above and its left or right long edge is open. Only free tiles can be taken.
Tap a free tile to pick it up, then tap a matching free tile to remove the pair. Tap the same tile again to put it back.
Most tiles match only their exact twin — but any flower matches any other flower, and any season matches any other season (all four flower tiles show the same blossom, and all four season tiles the same moon).
No pairs left to take? Undo is unlimited — step back as far as you like. Every board has a winning line, so a different order can still clear it.

Keyboard: arrow keys move between free tiles, Enter picks up and confirms a match, Esc deselects. Press H for a hint and U to undo.
