Also known as Tents and Trees, Camping, or simply the tent puzzle.
Every tree gets exactly one tent, pitched directly above, below, left or right of it. Tents are fussy neighbours: no two may touch, not even at a corner. The numbers along the edges tell you how many tents belong in each row and column. Every board we serve has been checked by an independent solver, so there is exactly one way to place them all — you never have to guess between two arrangements.

How to play Tents — the rules
- Goal: pitch one tent for each tree. A tent must sit directly above, below, left or right of its tree — never diagonally.
- Tap an empty square to place a tent. Tap again for grass (a note to yourself that no tent goes there), and again to clear it.
- No two tents may touch, not even at a corner.
- The numbers on the edges are how many tents that row or column holds. They fade when satisfied and turn red if you go over.
- Trees and tents pair up one to one. A layout with the right counts still fails if the pairing cannot be made.

What the badge means: before a board is served, an independent solver is given only the trees and the numbers — never our answer — and counts how many tent placements satisfy every rule. Only boards with exactly one are shown.

What is the Tents puzzle?
A grid with trees on it. You pitch one tent beside each tree so that no two tents touch — not even diagonally — and the number of tents in every row and column matches the clue on the edge. It is also known as Tents and Trees.
Does every tree really get its own tent?
Yes, and the pairing has to work out one to one. It is possible to place the right number of tents in the right rows and columns and still be wrong, because two trees end up fighting over the same tent. We check that pairing when we decide whether you have solved it.
Is there always exactly one solution?
Yes. Before a board is served, an independent solver receives only the trees and the edge numbers and counts every placement that satisfies the rules. Boards with more than one — or none — are thrown away and rebuilt.
What is the grass mark for?
It is a note to yourself that a square definitely holds no tent. It has no effect on whether the puzzle counts as solved; it just helps you keep track, like the cross mark in nonograms.
Is the daily board the same for everyone?
Yes. One board is generated each day from a public seed, and every player worldwide gets exactly the same one. It changes at midnight in your local time.
